It's a declarative sentence. Enos Lives. That's it.

I was called to the prophecy one day in sixth grade. I dropped a pen under my olive-green chair during Mrs. Wilkins's Language Arts class. I ducked my head and reached for it. For some reason, perhaps by fate, I looked under my seat. There, proclaiming itself in bold black permanent marker, "Enos Lives" latched onto my existence.

From that day on, I have written "Enos Lives" on everything--desks and chairs, bathroom stalls and alley walls, in dive bars and on top of Croagh Patrick. Everywhere.

I know that Enos Lives was once used in an advertising campaign for the Sony PlayStation. That doesn't matter to me.

The role of "Enos Lives" in my life has transcended it's original meaning. It has transcended me. I have seen it scribbled places that I have not written it. It is not a personal tag. It is something that I will always write. I'd like it on my tombstone.
Why?
